Rhea (still not able to digest what just happened a few mins ago) : Avu, What was that ?

Avni : What was what, Rhea ?

Rhea : You were hitting on that guy.

Avni : What ? Me ? Hitting on that guy ? How ? Are you out of your senses ?

Rhea : No babes. You really were hitting on him. Sorry... Handsome etc etc.

Avni : So, what's wrong in that ? Mom had told that we should say sorry when we feel that we did something wrong. That was clearly my mistake n that boy had helped me too from falling off. So I should say sorry right. You too had told that it was my fault.

Rhea : Yeah. That's true. But what was that handsome and all heh ?

Avni : Now what's big thing in that ? Neela ma had told that we should never hesitate to praise any one, if they really are worthy of it. N there is no harm in telling any person to take care of themself. He is good looking and seemed to be a nice guy. So I told the same. As simple as that.

Rhea : Uffff Avu. You, your moms and your philosophies. I give up.

Avni (giggling) : Good for you.

At the same time, Neil was waiting for his friends downstairs still thinking about Avni Mehta with his signature smile.

Just then Ali (a charming boy with curly hair) arrives with his friends Vidyut, DD & Juhi.

Ali : Hey Neil, When did you reach ?

No answer

Ali : Neil.. Neiiiiil

Ali to his team : What's happening with this Neil ? Why he is not responding ? And smiling smiling ? Something is fishy.

Everyone shrugs off.

He again calls Neil loudly.

Neil : Ha. Ha... Why are you shouting Ali ? When I am straight in front of you.

Ali : Its because I have been calling you since whole 5 mins but you were lost somewhere.

DD, Vidyut and Juhi (together) : Yes. He is right.

Vidyut : What happened Neil ? Any problem ?

Ali : What problem ? Cant you see his smile ? I am sure he is fallen for some girl.

Juhi : Who might be that girl that took our Neil's heart away ? She ought to be special. He was never interested in any girls.

DD : Yup. That's bcoz his heart is always with his girlfriend whom he always kept in veil. When will we at least get a glimpse of her yaar ?

Neil : Shut up guys. Its nothing like that. I am not fallen for any girl ok. I was, I am and I always will be loving only my gf. That's a promise that we made with each other when we were kids.

Vidyut : We have been hearing this since years Neil. But what's the story afterwards. Why dont you share that with us ?

Neil : Will tell you all at the correct time. Have some patience yaar. Let's this be a surprise for you all.

Vidyut : At least tell us na how she looks like.

Juhi : Vidyut, Why are you so interested in his gf ?

DD : Oh someone is getting angry. Vidyut, it is not good to ask about another gal in front of your girl friend ok.

(Vidyut and juhi loves each other)

Vidyut (to Juhi) : Sorry. Sweet heart. I asked out of curiosity. (By touching his ears with his hands).

Juhi smiles.

Ali : So Neil. At least tell na. Why you were smiling ?

Neil : What to tell yaar ? I was waiting for you all n then a gal bumped in to me. She is a pretty, arrogant yet sweet gal. At first she shouted at me, even though it was her mistake. But later said sorry and asked me to take care of myself. Strange girl (All smiling).

DD : Wah Neil. Neil Khanna praising a lady. This is the first time you are complimenting a gal. Indeed a miracle.

Vidyut and juhi : Exactly

Ali (by thinking something) : Arrogant and sweet ? Is that avni ?

All looks at him surprised.

Neil : How you know her ?

Ali : So, its avni ?

Neil : Yes. Avni Mehta with a gal named Rhea.

Ali (by hitting his head with his hand) : Oops how could I forget about them. I need to rush guys. Else they will kill me.

All (in unison) : Them ? Who ?

Ali : Relax guys. I told you about my girl friend right, that she had joined this college in our same class.

By hearing this Neil's heart was beating fast. He himself don't know why.

Neil : So ?

Ali : She is Rhea. Rhea Mehta.

Neil (with a sigh) : Oh. And how you know the other girl, Avni Mehta ? Is she Rhea's sister ?

Ali : Nope. Avni is Rhea's cousin and also my cousin.

Neil, DD, Vidyut and Juhi : What ? Rhea's cousin and your Cousin ?

Ali : Yup. Rhea is her paternal cousin and I am her maternal cousin.

The gang (together) : Why didn't you tell us before ?

Ali : What guys ? This much questions ? You all knew that I was pretty behind that cafe plot issue. I didn't even get time to go and see my aunt n her family. Avni and her family just reached Mumbai from London last week. I couldn't even meet them once. Avni and khushi di are surely gonna kill me.

Gang : Now who is this Khushi ?

Ali : She is avni's elder sister. My cousin. Ok I will rush to them now.

Gang : Why you alone ? We all too will come.

Ali : Nope. You all wait for mitali and Sunheri. I will catch up with Avni and Rhea. You can join us with mitali and Sunheri. I will somehow tackle them before that or else they will scold me in front of you all.

Gang : Haha. Ohhhk.

Juhi : Sorry Ali. But I am damn excited to see avni. She seems to be an interesting character.

Ali : Ofcourse she is. You are right Neil. Only avni can be termed as an arrogant & sweet gal. She is just like a kid. Favorite of all. Ok then you all join us later. Bye.

With that Ali ran upstairs and the gang waited for mitali and Sunheri.
